Capturing Innovation: Izaiah Wallace and TunePad
In our latest project, we had the privilege of working with Izaiah Wallace, a graduating student who is making waves in the intersection of technology, storytelling, and music innovation. Hired by a prestigious university, we produced a video showcasing Izaiah’s incredible journey and contributions to the field of computer science.

Behind the Scenes: Creating the Video
This video was a labor of love, shot over two days in two separate locations. Our first location was in an industrial sector of Chicago, covered in graffiti. This popular spot for local creatives provided a stunning backdrop with the gorgeous Chicago skyline in view. The second location was at a TunePad event where Izaiah demonstrated his musical coding concepts.
Capturing the interview with Izaiah was crucial. Hearing from him directly about the importance and necessity of his work added a personal and impactful layer to the video. To enhance production value, we incorporated drone shots, which book-ended the video with stunning aerial views of Chicago.
One of the most exciting parts of the shoot was hiring local breakdancers to perform on film. This addition showcased the beauty of artistry in Chicago and gave the video a unique aesthetic that perfectly complemented Izaiah’s innovative work.
